Prof. Nianbing Zhong is a doctor of Engineering, professor, member of the Communist Party of China, Master's supervisor, and visiting scholar of Arizona State University, USA (studied under Academician Bruce E. Rittmann). He is renowned as Chongqing Yingcai Projects for Innovation and Entrepreneur Leading Talents in the field of education, the leader of the innovation research team in Chongqing universities, and a young and middle-aged backbone teacher in Chongqing. Prof. Nianbing Zhong serves as Deputy Director of the Chongqing University Engineering Research Center of Intelligent Optical Fiber Sensing Technology and Chongqing Key Laboratory of Optical Fiber Sensor and Photoelectric Detection, and Distinguished Expert of Key Scientific Research Base for Pest Control of Cultural Relics Collections of National Cultural Heritage Administration. Prof. Zhong is also Editorial Board/Youth Editorial Board of IJHM, CCC, Laser Magazine, and other journals, Director of Chongqing Institute of Electronics and Chongqing Institute of Automation & Instrumentation, Reviewer of more than 40 SCI/EI journals, and Evaluation Expert of several vertical projects. He has chaired three projects under the National Natural Science Foundation of China, mainly researched more than ten basic military defense projects, key projects under the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars and the National Natural Science Foundation of China. Prof. Zhong has published over 100 academic papers (nearly 30 papers in the SCI Q1) and two chapters of an English monograph, and has been authorized nearly 30 invention patents. He has won six provincial and ministerial level science and technology awards and cooperated in formulating three local standards. Prof. Zhong is mainly engaged in the research of theory and method of micro-nano optical fiber biological information sensing, biochemical information acquisition and processing, optical fiber microfluidic analysis chip and system equipment.

钟年丙教授，光纤传感与光电检测重庆市重点实验室副主任，电气与电子工程学院副院长，美国亚利桑那州立大学访问学者（师从Bruce E. Rittmann院士），重庆英才·创新创业领军人才（教育领域）、重庆市高校创新研究群体带头人、重庆市中青年骨干教师，智能光纤感知技术重庆市高校工程研究中心、光纤传感与光电检测重庆市重点实验室副主任，馆藏文物有害生物控制研究国家文物局重点科研基地特聘专家。兼任IJHM、CCC、激光杂志等期刊编委/青年编委，重庆电子学会理事、重庆市自动化与仪器仪表学会理事，40余本SCI/EI期刊审稿人，多个纵向项目评审专家；主持国家自然基金项目3项，主研基础军工项目、国家杰青、国家自然基金重点项目10余项；发表学术论文100余篇（SCI大类一区论文近30篇），授权发明专利近30项，出版英文专著章节2章，获得省部级科技奖励6项，合作制定地方标准3项。主要从事微纳光纤生物信息感知理论及方法、生化信息获取及处理、光纤微流控分析芯片及系统装备研究。
